Official Upton County criminal records come from the government office that keeps each file. Court cases belong with the combined District/County Clerk in Rankin, while sheriff incident, arrest, booking, jail, warrant, and local registration questions begin with the Upton County Sheriff's Office. Statewide criminal-history records come from Texas DPS. The contact routes below separate those roles and note where published counter hours are unavailable.

This Is Not a Government Office. Upton County Criminal History is privately operated and has no affiliation with Upton County, Texas DPS, or any court or law-enforcement agency. We cannot retrieve or correct records, perform an official check, or accept an expunction or nondisclosure filing.

Upton County does not publish a separately named sheriff records division or standard counter hours for the sheriff or combined clerk. Call the sheriff at (432) 693-2422 or the clerk at (432) 693-2861 before an in-person trip. A request under the Texas Public Information Act must be written to trigger the Act; the sheriff's published email is sbrown@co.upton.tx.us, but the office should first confirm its designated electronic request address.
