Arrest Records in Upton County
The Upton County Sheriff's Office makes arrests in the unincorporated county and runs the county jail. McCamey Police creates city incident and arrest reports, though the city does not publish a dedicated records page. Texas DPS troopers can create records for highway or state-law enforcement. County constables may create peace-officer or court-process records. Rankin publishes no separate police department channel, so the sheriff is the practical law-enforcement starting point there.

Government Code §552.108 can protect parts of an active law-enforcement file, while §552.108(c) preserves basic information about an arrested person, arrest, or crime unless another law applies. Arrest Records vs Conviction Records
An arrest record proves that an agency documented a custodial event or arrest action. It does not prove that prosecutors filed the same charge or that a court found guilt.
